I'm trying to redo my scrapbook room and one of the projects i've done that was so easy to do was my storage for my washi tape/twine .
it was really easy to make and to this date has been the best way to store these items. all i did was purchase a wooden paper towel holder from walmart like this one:
unscrewed the little side post. 12 inch skewers from the grocery section. a drill and small drill bit. and some form of wood glue i used elmers
on the main wood post i marked 3 spots around the post evenly spaced. then about an inch down. did the same. but spaced in the center of previous marks. like this:
do this all the way down spacing between 1 inch - 1 1/2 between rows
then get your drill and drill holes at a downward angle. drill all yours marks. cut off the pointy end of the skewer leaving the rest the length you want, mine are 8 inches. put a dap of glue on the end and insert into the hole you drilled. Let dry. done!!
And just a reminder:
the ctmh New cricut cartridge artiste is now on sale!!!
