It's been a long hard road this year.
Which is y I haven't updated my blog. From being dumped a week before my 50th birthday (the other woman is 20 lol! ) can't compete with that. To a major flare up of my RSD most likely caused by the stress. But I'm back and gonna try to do it right. Downloaded a app for my android phone to hopefully make things easier. This is a test run
The project I'm posting today is a one page layout made with cuts from happy haunting, pumpkin carving and elegant edges.
My daughter wanted me to make her and a friend t-shirts for Halloween. These are the cuts I used to burn the yudu screen. So not wanting to waste the cuts I made a layout of them in the shirts I made
Ok going to hit publish. Cross your fingers for me
sorry it's been so long since i've posted. my RSD has been in a major flare. and with summer yard work and overtime at work. seems like nothing gets done.
but i have just completed my very first layout.
between xmas gifts and recuperating from my surgery i can't seem to get anything done. my daughter-in-law needed a tile for a xmas present. went out and bought cheap vinyl my cricut just shredded it??? so now what? i found some hp full page label sheets and i wanted to try out my lori's garden anyway. so this is what it ended up.
I filled in a square of hp label paper with a pattern from mystical garden then cut the letters out at 2 inches from hannah montana then printed and cut assorted designs from lori's garden. done

All you have to do is become a follower of my blog. And i also encourage you to leave a comment. i really would like to make this a successful blog.
my project for the Imagine blog hop is a Thanksgiving T-shirt
and here I am all decked out in my new apparel. Be nice I'm recovering from surgery.
The cartridges I used are: Mystical Garden, Thanksgiving seasonal, and home decor solutions.
and i also used iron on decal paper for dark stretchy material.
I tried a couple other brands and they tore when cut.
First i used the mystical garden cart. and home decor cart and cut 4 borders shapes at 1.5 and flipped 2. filled them in with the maroon pattern from mystical garden. then with the thanksgiving cart i cut the following.
pumpkin at 3.8 rel with a orange pattern
pumpkin shadow at 3.8 rel. with a dark green pattern
leaves at 2.5 rel. with the yellows and browns pattern
leaves shadow at 2.5 rel. with the gray pattern
give thanks at 3.7 with the maroon pattern
put all the shadow layers and single layers on and lightly iron. i used a cotton towel and it did have a tendency to stick if it got to hot.
UPDATE:
psjbjjj7 has made a comment on thanksgiving tshirt p1:video
this is a great idea it came out really good, Parchment paper works really well when you are using it over the fabric to iron. beautiful tshirt
i have not tried this but it seems like it would work. i'm going to pick up parchment paper tonight.
then put the second layer on and ironed good. making sure all was well adhered. but being careful not to over heat. add green t shirt paint for stem and tons of bling. i used hot fix crystals and used my tulip applicator. and your done.
scroll on down to see a 2 part video on how to do this or

sorry there hasn't been any new posts in awhile. had surgery on the 9th to put the battery from my spinal cord stimulator back in my hip where it belongs. so this is what i've been up to.
all these items came from the cricut imagine cartridge imagine more cards and cupcake wrappers.
card was cut at 5 inches....bird was cut at 3 inches and in layers
cupcake wrapper at 4.5
both boxes was fit to mat
below is a video i made featuring these projects. this is my very first time video taping myself. it's really weird to be talking to yourself. so please look over my mistakes. i will get better with this.
easy and first project with my cricut imagine. used nursery tails cart and birthday cakes cart.used 2 sided tape to tape these iron on sheets to the mat, they are slick on the back and didn't stick very well. then printed a pattern from the nursury tails cart with the shapes from birthday cakes cart. and cut. then you peel the backing paper off and iron it on. then iron on flat backed crystals for bling.
and this is a picture of the iron ons i used. a bit pricey at walmarts but their for dark shirts so their a solid white. don't know if others will work but i picked up a different kind and will be trying them. that will probably be my very first video.
my very first post i guess should tell you about me and what's this blog is all about. i'm tina and this is my way of trying to get back in the swing of life. 3 years ago at work i dropped a skid on my foot and fractured my toe. no biggie right..wrong. it never got better just worse. diagnosed with RSD. many drugs and therapy. fast forward to now. a fairly good drug regimen a spinal cord stimulator. but still suffering from deep depression and not wanting to be around people. nov 9 will be getting surgery to fix my stimulator my battery decided it didn't want to stay in my hip. so i'm gonna have alot of time on my hands. my first love is egg carving but because of the RSD can't do it as much as i like. but i have a cricut expression, cricut imagine, and gypsy. plus many other paper crafting gadgets. so this blog will be of my paper crafting or using my assorted gadgets. i do not profess to be the inventor of any of these projects. i have learned so much from the many bloggers and message boards on the internet. and will leave links where appropriate. welcome and be nice i'm new. appreciate any comments or suggestions.
