Imagine blog hop

"hi and welcome to our Imagine blog hop! This is my very first time being in a blog hop. hope you have as much fun being a part of this as i did. We have 11 blogs participating today, and you're sure to find some fun ideas for using your Cricut Imagine. If you've come here from Robin Jones's blog custom-comforts, you're on the right track. If you're just starting out, you can continue on from here and hop around in a circle until you arrive right back here! When you're done here, hop along to Linda Panattonin's blog mulberry village creates and see what she has created for us.

BLOG CANDY

November 24 I will do a drawing with all of my followers and 1 lucky person will win a cricut home decor cartridge a 3 pack of decorative edge scissors and a rubber stamp. All you have to do is become a follower of my blog. And i also encourage you to leave a comment. i really would like to make this a successful blog.

my project for the Imagine blog hop is a Thanksgiving T-shirt

and here I am all decked out in my new apparel. Be nice I'm recovering from surgery.
The cartridges I used are: Mystical Garden, Thanksgiving seasonal, and home decor solutions.

and i also used iron on decal paper for dark stretchy material.

I tried a couple other brands and they tore when cut.

First i used the mystical garden cart. and home decor cart and cut 4 borders shapes at 1.5 and flipped 2. filled them in with the maroon pattern from mystical garden. then with the thanksgiving cart i cut the following.

pumpkin at 3.8 rel with a orange pattern
pumpkin shadow at 3.8 rel. with a dark green pattern
leaves at 2.5 rel. with the yellows and browns pattern
leaves shadow at 2.5 rel. with the gray pattern
give thanks at 3.7 with the maroon pattern

put all the shadow layers and single layers on and lightly iron. i used a cotton towel and it did have a tendency to stick if it got to hot.

UPDATE:
psjbjjj7 has made a comment on thanksgiving tshirt p1:video
this is a great idea it came out really good, Parchment paper works really well when you are using it over the fabric to iron. beautiful tshirt
i have not tried this but it seems like it would work. i'm going to pick up parchment paper tonight.

then put the second layer on and ironed good. making sure all was well adhered. but being careful not to over heat. add green t shirt paint for stem and tons of bling. i used hot fix crystals and used my tulip applicator. and your done.

scroll on down to see a 2 part video on how to do this or
